SDI Visakhapatnam has set up extension centres inside Rajahmundry & Visakha central prions. Training is being given to inmates of both the prisons in the courses Manual metal ARC welding or Industrial Welder (O&G) and Plumber (general). Besides these courses training is being given to both male & female inmates in the course jute products stitching operator in Visakhapatnam prison. So far 1015 & 1617 inmates trained in Rajahmundry & Visakha central prisons respectively.
